Depressing footwear tends to be the most comfy though. Most of my shoes are ugly as all eff, but they cushion the tooties and my ailing heel quite nicely.
I finally broke down and bought “sensible” shoes. The kind that I don’t have to ask for help putting on (bending over is getting more and more uncomfortable) or tying. They’re clog like blue suede and are lined in shearling.

It’s not a lie. My hair was modest in height compared to THL’s Mount Aqua Net on her head.
Expert, if you grew up in any of the “outer boroughs” it goes without saying that you did have big hair at one time or another.
