  1. Thanks for the tip Tybur! Hopefully Ikea will have a cookie sheet that will give me some room. I never thought I’d be pulling out a tape measure to get the interior dimensions of my oven. Sigh.

  2. Just a baking tip… you shouldn’t use a baking sheet that fills the entire oven (i.e., using the rack tracks) — you need air flow for things to bake right. The heat comes from the bottom, rises up, kits the top and flows back down. If the baking sheet fills the whole oven, it will be really hot underneath and considerably cooler above. This will result in undercooked cookies with burnt bottoms… yuck.

    Space around the sheet makes the oven evenly warm – top to bottom.
