  1. I don’t really do any tourist seeing in Philly. I got to visit family so we only end up going out to restaurants and bars. Shame, really.

Same for when I go to Venice & Florence and practically anywhere else!!!!

I can’t believe these tourists here out wandering the streets at 7:30 in the morning when I’m going to work.

When I travel I usually get a call from the front desk asking if they can come make up the room yet b/c it’s 11:00!!!!

  2. Thanks Dave.

Slope, you lost me there. I don’t know any Russian past history (It was my worst subject always). I don’t really do any tourist seeing in Philly. I got to visit family so we only end up going out to restaurants and bars. Shame, really.

  3. Kens, I’m sure there’s some good Russki food up in Northeast Philly. In all seriousness, however, I do recommend the Eastern Penitentiary as a great tourist stop. Really fascinating architecturally, socialogically and historically (no, this isn’t a joke; it’s no longer a real prison, but it is open for tours).

P.S. What are you doing to celebrate the 20th anniversary of 11/9/89?
