ENY, bxgrl, I wasn’t shaky. I was, in fact, very optimistic. But my hopes have been crushed by the Yankees before, in the not so distant past, and I didn’t want to jinx a repeat. I can be very superstitious. I won’t dare go to the parade – went to 2 World Series games and then the Mets parade in ’86 and they haven’t won since. Just sayin’.

There’s no place in this man’s game for softies! Can’t you tell a championship team when you see one? The Yankees were clearly the best team in baseball this year. Doubting is for cowards! Next time, show some backbone!
