  1. “You Can’t Hurry Love” (Supremes or Phil Collins)

No I can’t wait to live in my Brownstone
I grow impatient for a Parlor to call my own
But when I feel that I, I can’t go on
These precious words keeps me hangin’ on
    I remember my contractor said:

    You can’t hurry work
No, you just have to wait
He said details don’t come easy
It’s a game of take and take

    You can’t hurry work
No, you just have to wait
He said trust, give it time
No matter how long it takes

    No, renovations, don’t come easy
    But I keep on waiting
Anticipating for that en suite bath
    And wainscoting
    For a kitchen island
    And inlaid floors
    I keep waiting
    I keep on waiting
    But it ain’t easy
    It ain’t easy
    But my contractor said:

    You can’t hurry work
No, you just have to wait
He said to trust, give it time
No matter how long it takes

word – had never seen that stipulation before but seems common on listings for 3brs in park slope.

  3. “I avoid those like the plague!”

I have too, until now! I still can’t figure out how I got roped into this…

In fact, I would rather come over there and fry your rice!!

Praying to g*d that I get through this without too many horrifying stories about who/how I was or what I did in HS. I CANNOT remember much of it! LOL!!

The good news is…I have a stellar outfit to wear! ; )

  4. I disagree Legion. I stated facts about many many states vote for governor in 1 party and president in another. Even states that solid ‘red’ or ‘blue’ and gave examples both ways. In real elections.
You reference poll numbers and how unreliable they are. And try to spin governors elections as a referendum on federal gov’t policy. There is a big disconnect between state and fed.
