Yes, shelf risers. Just make one out of a piece of 2 x 4 or something. if you need wood and want it ripped you can come over to my place and we can both play bull dyke with the table saw.
Schools offer suggestions for “positive costumes” (such as animals and food, preferably carrots and pumpkins) and “costume appropriateness”. Nothing too scary, gross, or saddening. Before anyone attacks me, I’m not suggesting that I approve of costumes that “demean any race, religion, nationality, handicapped condition or gender”. But, no fake fingernails or claws? No “Scream” masks, no Jason hockey masks, no Chucky. And “French maids [costumes] are explicitly discouraged”, lol. OK, I don’t have kids, so maybe it’s not for me to say, but, IMHO, this seems little political correctness gone too far.

The kitchen supply stores sell a plastic thing that looks like steps for sppices. You can see the ones in the back because they are higher than the ones in the front. Just do someting like that with a piece of 2 X 4
