crescent hill- Why don’t you quote exactly what comment you think I made regarding you? My comments were in reference to benson’s, not yours. But hey, if its paranoia you got, run with it.
DIBS sounds like a mutual fund manager.. Long term investing has killed many investors.. Don’t do it with all your money… If you are too busy to invest your own money than get a advisor.. Don’t just dump money into a 401k…
In addition to the book that CH recommends, I would add a book that is published yearly by Dun and Bradstreet called “Guide to Your Investments”. It is meant for the novice, and provides a great perspective on the whole topic.
My last piece of advice: When something sounds too good to be true, it IS too good to be true.

I know….. – I was being facietious(sp)
PS – have actually done pretty OK in my 401K thus far and am pretty happy with even my basic knowledge of what and how to invest in it
so am all good!

Good! BTW: I fully agree about Belleville. I HATE that place.
I had not ditto, but being the intelligent guy I am just looked it up on Urban Dictionary. I suspect it’s just a rest stop on the highway to Gay Town.
