Have any of you eaten at Oceana in Rockefeller Plaza (they used to be on East 54th St)??????
Well I say boycott it. They have a 70 (yes seventy) year old lobster that they are offering in a special meal for $275. All this can be is bragging rights for some asshole; the lobster meat won’t be that tender.
Send this 70 year old lobster back to the sea and TAKE THOSE F*&^ING RUBBER BANDS OFF HIS CLAWS.
sorry if you all covered this already – but did you see this hilarious article on the front of the NYT.com website just now about the Shaming of members who don’t keep up with their side of the bargain over at the park slope co-op
“The Food Coop story points to how really inane some peoples lives are”
Agreed, Dave. I just the article, ROFL. I’m sorry, but I love this description: “a onetime co-op member who described the place as ‘something between an earthy-crunchy health food haven and a Soviet-style re-education camp.'” Also sounds like a place where the Soup Nazi would be right at home. I’m sorry, but I’d rather pay more for my organic arugula at Whole Foods and buy my olives at Sahadi’s than start giving up vacation days to work in the food co-op. [Ducks for cover]
hiya folks
am off today
“working from home”
ha!
cargar – how’s the chow? did you see I sent you an artic dog shout out on the OT yesterday towards 6pm
did anyone else notice there were 2 musicians on every corner along 5th avenue from 7th street to Carroll just playing music – not for money, just playing some tunes
love that
Legion, my partner has cats down in Philly so i only see them on weekends. they are two wonderful animals. Not as wonderful as the previous two but still wonderful. We’ve never had really tempermental cats. You know, the kind that behave like cats. Ours behave like dogs.

His name is Larry.
BOYCOTT OCEANA
The early Jaguar XKE drop-head coupe (that’s the 3.8L version) is the greatest modern era non-exotic car EVER! No arguments please.

Denton – No, clothes are just the wrapping – evanescent. But style is enduring.

And I would get two here in NYC but almost every week I’m gone from Friday morning until Monday evening….down in Philly.

Thanks to all who tried to help with the Mac/PC external HD question I asked yesterday.
The easy answer is to format the drive using the older format of FAT32. Then both computers should recognize it.
If that’s not done, bxgirl is the winner, there’s a program that can be installed on the PC that will allow it.
Confirmed w 2 different HD manufactures at PhotoPlus today.
