Did you catch that, cobblehiller- DIBS said clan mCLEAN. AHA! I have no idea why i said aha- seemed like fun at the moment.
Battlestar galactica has come a long long way since Lorne Green and that annoying kid with the robot dog. It’s really well written-
DIBS- I have some computer games you can have for your Marine buddy. When you do stuff with the military you wind up with odds and ends. However my taste has not yet gone over to “raging Battle” or “sacred war.” But hey- the guy’s a Marine. They love that stuff. Marines are probably the most fascinating branch of the military (IMHO). Every marine is taught a history of the corps as part of his military traiing. No other branch does that. Just yell Chesty Puller or frozen Choisin in a room full of ’em.
Yes, I am. I watched the first episode and wasnt impressed. However, when they did a marathon about a year ago, I caught up and realized how well put together it is. It’s just not particularly accessible for casual viewing though.
I am. Though I confess my interest in it has trailed off a bit. The first season was awesome. It kind of trails off after that, though I think it is still better than most of the dreck clogging the airwaves these days.
Rob, I think your friend can watch it on line, accessed through scifi.com. A schedule of repeats may be there, as well. They do repeat it later that Friday night, after the first airing, at 10, usually at midnight.
