MM: The very things you describe made it perfect. To be honest, I wasn’t watching for the story. I was hot for one of those young guys. I can’t remember which one. (It wasn’t Lorne Greene!) And that Erin what’s-her-name had great hair. I bet she used Wella Balsom, though she could have been a Breck girl. I can tell you that was NOT a Toni home perm.
Re:Battlestar – who do you mean? Lorne Greene? Richard Hatch, who played Apollo, now he’s on the new one as the evil Vice President? Or Dirk Benedict, who played Starbuck?
I love science fiction, even bad scifi, but I HATED the original BG. It had all of the bad scifi cliches, but took itself too seriously. Corny plots, cute moppets with robot friends, uninspired and go nowhere villians, over the top acting, and everyone under 30, including the extras looked like a model. It is genetically impossible that the only surviving humans in the universe were all gorgeous.
Plus, they had the worst sci-fi cliche of all – taking current earth culture and speech (in this case, Southern California, circa 1980) and giving it little tweaks to make it “alien”. Like having blue cows with 2 tails, and calling them “foofa” or something. Like we can’t see a dyed Guernsey. Always reminds me of the hilarious Star Trek episode where Kirk and Co. pick up the alien “beatniks”.
OMG. Thank you Snark! (Wait, let me put on my tiara that I bought at Ricky’s)
I would like to thank Snark for selecting me today. I would like to thank Mistress BRG for supplying the material that made it possible to be snarky. Adn I what to thank all the little people who begged and cried and completely turned snark’s stomach, thus taking themselves out of the running.

DIBS: Bitterness is so unbecoming.
Thank you, C’Hiller.

Yesh, Snark, which of Miss Chiff’s comments deserved the SOTD?
D’OH!!!
Dave, I’m getting old, can’t walk fast anymore.
Funny thing is that without BRG there could be no snarky comments!!! LOL
The SOTD couldn’t go to a nicer person!
Better luck next time BRG : P
misterbubble is not DIBS
Miss Chiff,

I love you all.
” I don’t beg for anything…well….never mind ;-)”
BRG, I could change that for you….
