  1. Thanks for the advice guys! I am going to look into fixed prices for the heating costs as we were given that option last winter when oil went up to 147 per barrel.

M4L, my HD advice was for me and not co-op but thanks. I’ll stick to the Brooklyn one and support local micro-economy.

  2. slopefarm- lets be clear- I don’t use ad hominem atacks. I respond to how someone treats me. I’ll attack an issue or an argument, not the person- unless that person attacks me first. I’m not the one who made it personal with MM, BRG and THL.

  3. I don’t know about that arkady – I’m sure there are others like me who have one type at work and the other at home.

I gave up on a personal PCs when time came to buy a new one because of viruses, malware etc etc, haven’t had a single problem in 3 years with the Mac and i don’t do anything regarding securirty. As for work, we use PCs and they are fine – but we’ve got an IT team keeping them fine and updating etc. All that costs money. When one calculates a Mac for home use is expensive, one should take into account any security measures and software also needed to be purchased.

  4. That’s true M4L. But Bernie wound up with the Yanks in the end, correct? He talked about the entire episode in his “Centerstage” interview. Hey, I didn’t say there weren’t bumps in the road. But if Bernie felt so disrespected, how come he’s come back to the Yankee “family?” In fact, Bernie’s number will be retired in Monument Park eventually. Bank on it! It’s nothing like Nomar and the Red Sox. Nomar had Jeter-like status as a Red Sox, and they basically kicked him out of town!

  5. bx,

At least you guys aren’t resorting to ad hominems and such. Aggressive arguing on both sides, but you are behaving.

Sometimes you guys remind me of Ackroyd and Curtain on SNL Weekend Update doing Point/Counterpoint.
