When I was last in Mexico I seriously considered swiping a bottle of Lime Mayo that they’d serve with hamburgers in the restaurant of our hotel. SO good!
Best Foods on the West Coast. Best Foods owned Helman’s but it stayed Hellmans on the East Coast. Best Foods was owned by Corn Products Company (CPC International). Not sure who owns the brand now but it is what I was raised on and the only mayo I will eat and I will never eat Miracle whip.
It’s Best Foods west of the Rockies because when CPC bought the franchise out there it would’ve been too expensive to rebrand it. (They used to be a big client of mine.)
now I will begin to think of myself as growing up poor since my mother bought miracle whip….but we used butter on sandwiches not mayo. I know, sounds real goyshe. Msalad had m.whip.
