Look I’m not agreeing or disagreeing with What’s blog or what we discuss in the OT.
What did an OT for those who wanted to for lack of a better word defect. So be it. Fine by me.
All I’m trying to say is it’s disrespectful to Mr. B to keep talking about What’s blog over here. Likewise I’m sure that they have no interest in discussing things that happen over here over there. If they did have any interest in this blog they’d still be here.
Let’s just keep the two camps separate. For those hopping back and forth please wipe your feet at the door so as not to track any dirt back with you on your shoes.

Well, unless you actually speak to the individuals that are upset. And so far, those people haven’t been comfortable to speak their minds. I’m not sure why. AL spoke up for some of them. But it wasn’t the full picture.
But the upset/rift is very real to a number of people, DIBS. I think CG_ups started to talk a little about it last night.
Biff was VERY shocked to find out that people have been upset with him. And he’s been privately emailing people to talk about how to resolve it.
There are others who I have spoken to who are upset. I cannot speak for any of them, but I do understand their reasons.
One very old and close friendship has been destroyed by this. Which is just horrible. I can’t speak for those people either.
And one very close old friend of this blog has been badly maligned, and I’m not sure how to help fix that.

I agree with you. The What’s blog is a piece of crap and doesn’t discuss ANY of the things people were supposedly attracted to about THIS blog in the first place. So when comment counts start getting heavy over on this person’s blog who is not only racist, but also said some horrific things to some of the valued posters on this blog COMBINED with the fact that he doesn’t discuss or research real estate or brownstones, it really does seem like a total slap in the face to Mr. B (who, believe it or not does a lot to gather the information to put these threads up to then have then ignored so that people can fight like 14 years olds in the OT).
It feels wrong. I agree.

once again just speaking for myself, I don’t have any issues with the folks who left this blog. I was and am just disappointed they ended up hanging out at WHAT’s blog. if they were hanging out at THL’s blog, curbed,… I wouldn’t even have an opinion. I miss them and also out of curiousity, I ask for the post count and don’t tell me to go look over there – I refuse to add to his blog page view counts. There is no hate or competition with them
