I remember the trains with the wicker seats positioned at 90 degree angles and ceiling fans. Those were great trains…actually comfortable! I don’t remember those conductors – a little before my time. But as young and semi-wild kids my friends and I would sneak rides on the platforms between the cars that Benson mentions. A stupid and irresponsible thing to do for sure.

M4L, although the S&P has recovered a little from it’s lows of earlier today, the value line index (KVY – equal weighted index) is still down 1%. Although it’s not a terrible day, it’s still not a good one for the markets.
My impression is that although the markets were due a bounce from the lows on oversold (panic) positions, they also got ahead of themselves and have to give some back now.
