“is it ok to say that i have never seen a black person wearing crocs?”
Of course it is….if you haven’t seen a black person wear crocs. but I have. It’s an equal opportunity fashion disaster. But THL is right they do look cute on little kids. But ONLY on little kids!
bodhi, today it was just rob & 11217, no big deal. yesterday i think you saw Another Lurker come in and get all bent out of shape because the spotlight was off of her for a bit
“Your comments remind me of the Honeymooner’s shows where Ralph describes his relationship with his mother-in-law (remember – when he is making a record to woo here back).”
“She’s a BLABERMOUTH!! A BLABBERMOUTH!!”
I LOVE that episode, Benson! I lose it every time Norton starts playing the harmoinca to set “a romantic mood” while Ralph is trying to make the record.
To this day the Honeymooners is my favorite 1/2 hour comedy, because it really does depict a Brooklyn (and NYC) of days gone by. Norton even plays stickball with the kids. Reminds me of when I was in college and briefly lived in the Bronx. I taught the neighborhood kids some street games like roly poly, stickball, etc. That was fun.
benso, she had a ghost writer for the IM, just like the book.

i can’t believe 11217 has turned an innocent comment into a giant tahdo. cheezeitz. if i offended your sensibilities, fine i apologize.

Bodhi-
I think some people may be bored. In a misguided effort to garner more attention/entertainment value they resort to ugly and divisive behavior.
Quite ugly and doesn’t say much about them does it?

Again, no big deal.
