The notion of free speech is one of the things that separates us from many of the troubled places around the world, past & present, where hate like this actually gains traction.
the difference tho ken is that i dont think these freaks even have a leg to stand on in ANY way, with ANYONE for the most part. it’s like they are just talking into the wind flapping their ignorant lips, unlike unfortunate injustices of the past that had more a following? i dont know.. i mean i do understand your viewpoint as well. i find the people in the subway stations preaching hate messages with their pamphplets just as bad, but for some reason they get a pass? i dont know why, it’s weird. i think the ones in the stations in times square?
Bodhi, I mistakenly mentioned you as the person I quoted rather than correctly mentioning Snappy. I wasn’t referring to anything you said. You’re the least offensive person on this blog! Unlike my use of the Queen’s English, which apparently is very offensive.
Kens, it should never be tolerated. On that we agree. I just disagree with going down there to actually kick the asses of these Kansans. In such a scenario, they come out looking like the sane ones. Think of how MLK fought against racism without violence. It can be done.
