Jon removed it. I also asked him to remove her address but he hasn’t. Maybe if other people email and complain enopugh, he will. He actually said he would post the info on yesterdays forum to try “public embarrassment.” Not cool and not good.
Any lawyers out there know if this is something the homeowner can take him to court over?
Why would i care if people knew my facebook page??? Isn’t it supposedly out there so people can access and view it?? What harm could come?? Snarky comments on my Wall or whatever it’s called???
Combined with a picture and Jon posting the address (In the forum thread he tells the OP to send him the info so it can be used to publicly embarrass the homeowner. I’m sorry but where the hell does a blog get the right to do this? And what would happen if someone did it to Jon? Her facebook page doesn’t say anything about her home, her address, etc. I don’t like witch hunts and if it comes to choosing the right to privacy over a public lashing about a curb cut, I go with the right to privacy. No house is worth that much.

Well, there’s that TOO, DH! And I’ve spoken out about that here on the blog in the past. It’s clear that all the FACTS aren’t in. And going after this person in a public lynch mob manner is just wrong.
