Some of us are going to counter protest the Westboro people on Saturday (See Wed. Links thread). Anyone want to join us. It will be silent an respectful of the Sabbath and shul. Westboro will try to incite those who disagree and will probably shout awful stuff but the most powerful statement we could make would be to simply stand there and show New Yorkers care about each other (despite all the infighting) and we don’t need or want haters from Kansas- or anywhere for that matter.
