Anyway, as all baseball fans know, a catcher need tough hands to play his position. What some don’t know is that urine makes human skin very tough and resistant. So before every game, Jorge…I’ll let you guess the rest.

Funny story,

I used to live in Chelsea when I was in college. This before the gays made it super pretty. We were on 24th Street between 9th & 10th (across from London Terrace). 24th street traffic runs eastbound and we had a firehydrant right in front of our first floor window.

There was a brisk flesh trade that went on over at 11th Avenue. The girls would get picked up and they’d drive to the nearest spot to pull over and conduct their brief transaction. Guess what was a great spot? Right in front of my living room window by the fire hydrant!

We had great fun heckling the customers. Particularly those with car seats in the backseat (I hope you go home and shower before you pick up your child). The girls would laugh and wave at us they were a hoot. The men would for the most part be mortified. A few actually enjoyed the audience.

It was quite the crowd pleaser when we threw big parties and people under the influence would be called over to the window to see a performance.
