I hate the whole liberal/conservative democrat/republican foolishness. Anyone who votes based on a category label is just an ass and shouldn’t be allowed to vote at all.
In my view, yes. Liberals have realized that liberal is a bad word to a lot of people so they are trying to dress it up with another word. Kind of like the political correct language movement (if I can dignify it by calling it a movement) from last decade. It’s like conservatives suddenly calling themselves “traditionalists” or something.
There’s a lot more to it, of course, like the fact that “liberal” traditionally meant what is now viewed as economically conservative, so there is plenty of opportunity for liberals to claim that the move to “progressive” is a legitimate one, but in my view that’s reaching much too far back to be a legitimate argument.
“Odd question about religion, it’s a belief, not sure it should be about anything like promoting peace.”
Especially funny because religion has been the underlying cause for most ‘wars’ throughout history.
I’m proud to say that I’m a regressive!
I would go to Court St. cinema, but if a fire breaks out I’m screwed…I can’t run!
227, wasn’t that a TV show?

LOL Arkady! That’s what I like to think about myself 🙂
178 is basically the consummate Conservative. No middle of the road, according to the quiz.
Liberal is apparently more left wing than Progressive.

Snaps, I read in the Times today that it opens in October.
ROFL, Arkady!
“So, is progressive the new word for liberal?”
