c’hiller- for g-d’s sake! It’s not an award. It’s a life burdening responsibility. Take it from me. (You had 3 Jewish boyfriends? I don’t think i ever had one. I seem to go for the ethnic/wasp/weirdo types. One could say I have catholic tastes. 🙂
One of my old bosses was Kosher and his father-in-law also worked in the office.
Whenever his FIL was away he’d get a shrimp salad sandwich for lunch. EVERY TIME! He even swore me to secrecy. You can NEVER tell him!
Story is he didn’t grow up in a Kosher household and had to adapt to it once he got married. Poor thing would always look SO guilty when he was eating it too.
so if i walk all the way down to bergen street on 5th avenue, and then just start walking down like 4th to 3rd, etc ill hit hoyt? is that crossing through the projects?
biff,
thanks, but I’m out of town again early in the AM.
perhaps I’ll check in for tomorrow’s run down.
by the way, what was that restaurant at the top of the hotel in Brooklyn that somebody mentioned a couple of weeks ago? Was that the View in Park Slope?
