  1. No comments to my post, eh? He-he-he!!

Well, allow me to print out part of President Clinton’s December 16th, 1998 speech:

“Earlier today I ordered America’s armed forces to strike military and security targets in Iraq. They are joined by British forces,” Clinton said.

“Their mission is to attack Iraq’s nuclear, chemical and biological weapons programs and its military capacity to threaten its neighbors,” said Clinton.

I think it you check the Congressional Record, you will also find that President Clinton signed into a law that said that it is the policy of the United States to bring about regime change in Iraq.

    Facts are funny thing….

  2. When Clinton was in office, tings in Iraq were quite different. In addition, he had reputable documentation of Husseins activities and good reason to believe there were WMD’s there. Let’s not forget Hussein also started the Gulf War- this was not the has-been of 2002. In addition, the documentation used by Bush was not only out of date and known to be wrong, some of it was flat out lies. The only yellowcake Hussein seemed to be getting was with chocolate frosting on it.

On top of that we were supposedly going after Bin Laden in Afghanistan and suddenly we veer of into Iraq. With no reason whatsoever. In fact, as early as January of 2002, Bush said he didn’t care about Bin Laden.

“You can’t argue with “true believers”:”

Yes- and they also say, “there are none so blind as those who will not see.”

  3. As a bleeding heart, liberal, pinko commie card-carrying socialist, I have to say that, although I typically agree with Jon Stewart’s message, at times I find him to be condescending and self-righteous.

  4. Greta van Susteren is on Fox still, I think.
From the trailers, she spent about 3 solid years just covering the American girl that went missing on Aruba.

There’s something really revolting about the ‘true crime’ shows, but I confess I find myself watching them very occasionally.
