Palin speaks in platitudes and political punch lines. Anyone who thinks an honest word or opinion came out of her mouth doesn’t know much about political groomers. She was a construct of Republican fantasies of being mavericks. Mavericks- right. Real Mavericks go their own way and wouldn’t go into politics if you paid them.

Both Huckabee and Palin were perfectly good governors. I don’t see why the idea of either in executive office is so unthinkable given that they both were.
Made a lot of progress in reforming state agencies and improving (from the state’s perspective) energy taxes.
