  1. Good question. I haven’t told them yet. They’re going to be so upset when I kick them out of their favorite hangout. The bedroom we’re going to use (the largest spare one) is currently empty except for a few miscellaneous storage shelves and bookcases. It’s their toy/romper room. I’m anticipating a revolt.

The one odd thing is. My old guy who always intuitively knows and refuses to leave my side when I’m not feeling well (he’ll literally howl if I close a door on him when I’m sick) started doing something very weird a month ago. He’d climb on my lap and position himself in a way that he was laying stretched over my belly. He’d NEVER done that. Anytime I tried to move him he’d meow and not want to budge. My husband and I were laughing because it was so awkward looking and odd that he’d started it. Well, call me crazy but I have a feeling that he could sense something about me changed long before I knew what was happening.

it makes sense in other states where everyone is hitched and popping out kids by 25 but not here.

personally i think ageism is annoying. every older single woman is a cougar. every younger person is a hipster. blah blah blah.

  3. Maybe a cougar is 30 in places like Iowa or something where ppl get married at 20? And how old would the cougee be with a 30 year old cougar? 15? I think you have to have a pretty major age difference in a cougar/cougee scheme.
