Full Metal jacket- you’re right about the character. I thought the movie was totally disturbing and powerful and I honestly didn’t know what to feel about it except to say we expect a hell of a lot from our soldiers and don’t do nearly enough to help them. It was a brutal watch, though. Don’t think I could see it again.
