bxgrl, Snappy, remind me to tell you a funny story about when I had foot surgery many years ago! The gist of it is that I was NOT a good patient! And my care-giver, uhm, got a little frustrated with me…and the funny part is how he told me…I was being incredibly ANNOYING!
I was with work colleagues on our way to a pitch. We were super early, so we were standing outside on the sidewalk talking and prepping for the pitch when I looked over and there was CGar. We immediately recognized each other of course, and there was sort of a “hey”, “hey,” and we shook hands, and there was some kind of hand signals that said “yeah we’ll totally talk about this later,” and then went back to doing our thing. CGar, did you see me when I got out of the car or just when I looked over and noticed you?
That would be funny…in front of your co-workers have someone call you the jackal and you call him carroll! That would raise some eyebrows for sure! If any of you ever see me in the streets and you don’t know my real first name, please stick with ‘Hey you!’ instead of Snappy or Insert!
Snappy- that sounds awful! Really- let us know if you need us to come over and help you. When I had my foot operated on the Great EVLL was a saint.Of course those good times are over now 😉
I was with a friend who smokes. I was taking an iced coffee break and catching up with her before I leave for vacation. We used to sit next door to each other, but we got separated a few months back when [TARP Recipient] had to vacate our floor, so that’s our chance to catch up.
Since my arch is now part of the problem and the pain from standing and walking is shooting up my leg, I don’t know if a boot would help. I have an arch supporter stuck on my foot and it’s also wrapped up in an ace bandage, but it’s not helping right now.
