  1. Speaking of restaurants, I need a rec for a place to go w/my cousins this weekend. One will be here from Montreal, the other from London. They are both in their 50s (they are older cousins : )), but hip (that may have come out wrong – do not mean to say that ppl in their 50s aren’t generally hip). And no, Biff, I am not Canadian.

I generally refuse to go above 14th St on weekends, so downtown recs especially welcome.

  2. Hey Biff, sorry for the delay. Pearl Oyster Bar is great. Foodwise it is very similar to Mary’s Fish Camp. I think Pearl is a little more ambient for a night out or date while Mary’s is a little more Cape Cod beach shack vibe. Personally, I like Mary’s a tiny bit more because of the lobster pot pie during the winter, and the killer spicy shrimp tacos. Both have outstanding fried oysters/clams and amazing lobster rolls. You can’t go wrong with a meal at Pearl but be prepared for a killer wait. Both have lines out the wazoo before they even open.

  3. Dave, Prague is WAY more expensive. Lap dance in Prague and Budapest is easily 100 bucks. Everything with touchy touchy is WAY more.

M4L, I am having a fight in Kitchen Reno forum thread with BHO. I am not as good of a swinger as 11217 but Enjoy nevertheless :o).
