People pay all kinds of money for what they want. We are not required or asked to understand it, or even agree with it. I personally, will never understand why anyone would pay thousands of dollars for a handbag with some designer’s name plastered all over it. Obviously, my opinion on this is ignored by those who gladly fork their money over to do it. Those who want to, are free to buy the bag, the rest of us are free to buy what we want.
Dave found a house that pleased him, in a neighborhood that pleased him. Good for him. Just because others don’t get that is their problem, not his. It has nothing to do with being awake or asleep to what goes on in the market. Its simply a matter of being able to afford what you want, where you want, and buying it. Why can’t people just accept that, be happy for him, or indifferent, I’m sure he doesn’t care either way, and let it go at that. There isn’t always a conspiracy or ulterior motive.
Dave, I wanna see you perform that, dancing and all, at the next karaoke meetup 🙂 And I will have the batteries charged up in my camera! Can anyone loan him a pair of parachute pants?
Oooohhh…I love curb alerts! I totally don’t need to bring anything else into my apt., but curb alerts get my undies in a bunch 🙂 I went through a major purge about a year ago. The Salvation Army got most of my crap. A few things I sold or gave away on CL. It was a good feeling. After about 3 weeks of purging, I must have put out 3 large bags of shredded paper. It would have been more, but I overheated the damn shredder…poor thing couldn’t take it!
snappy
what’s wrong with your foot exactly?
MM, well said.
Good luck G10!
Biff, I actually threw my back out dancing to that damned song several years ago! It was fun though 🙂
Biff, I got that song in my head immediately after I posted that!
