I love very clean smelling perfumes like White Linen and Ma Griffe. My Aunt who was a very sophisticated world traveler used Ma griffe and L’air du temps. But republique (I don’t even know if its produced anymore was the sexiest (and Chanel #5.) Still love fresh lavender and fresh cut grass.
Not necessarily cutting down the teak tree but just sawing the wood produces an incredibly intense sweet smeel with teak.
I mad a bar counter out of it for my garage roof deck in Chicago many years ago.

biff, yes gasoline is a pretty amazing smell. does new gas smell like that anymore? i hardly ever smell that scent anymore.
