I know the buildings–they are next to the Gleanealy School, at the intersection of the shortcut road I use to hike up to the Peak. It’s a big mess there now–lots of construction. The gov’t engineering department is doing something with the drainage.

LOL, WonTon, as you well know, the Hong Kong Government’s “Make Work” Public works expenditures have had that place torn up off and on for 20 years!!!!!!
We used to have a vegetable truck stop there one day a week.
Also, there’s a condo just below the LRC, next to it, that has a tiny store in it and that was the only place I could find the canned cranberry jelly for Thanksgiving back in 1992!!!!!
If you are looking for a party atmosphere on a cruise, then Carnival is the way to go. From what I hear, Carnival Cruises are like floating frat-house parties.
Wow…. last night was hilarious. DH and I walking around some ridiculous hipster hive, toting PBRs, walking up to pretty much every group of people we saw with a new line of utter bullshit every time. Me in suit and tie, hipster also looking pretty non-hipster….
DH you’re so right – they were all from Ohio and Spain (that was random) and other very non-NYC type places and had all moved to williamsburg in the last five minutes or so. Megan and Josh from Ohio so to speak.
“CGar, sounds like the clown car. You could probably host next week’s drinks in that tent. Impressive!”
Bitter, It is getting a kind of crowded in my one bedroom with deck here sharing with Chet, Chad, BH and CGar….
And sharing the ONE bathroom with 4 men and a dog is driving me MAD! ; )
Mornin’ all you drunken PLUSA Asshats! I see we ladies missed a helluva party in WillyB!
For your Friday amusement: http://tinyurl.com/loy6hk
CG – It was great. I can’t wait to move. Twice the space I have now, plus a garden, and my rent is going down.
