Rob, maybe the killer was the winner or someone crucial to the plot – but still, you’d think it would make for much better ratings *not* to cancel the show.
Sometime around 1972 I was standing on the corner of 72nd and Bway with my (fortunately) good-looking Dominican friend, and a terrified Italian (from Italy) young woman comes up to us and says that a guy has been following her for an hour, can we help. So we chase him away and then I suggested that she come over to my place for a while to make sure he can’t track her down any more. That was fun, and not the only one.

That was laugh out loud funny!
Biff- if you want to cover up, wear a full body spandex suit. You’ll be happy and so will we ladies! I think you can buy them with airbrushed 6 pack abs (so appropriate for you!), it’ll nicely round out the tush, comes in lots of great colors and is easy to deal with (zipper) in any state of inebriation.
i am SO angry at VH1 right now. you know that swimsuit model who was killed and found dead in a suitcase in a dumpster yesterday!? well her killer was one of the contestants on Megan Wants a Millionaire!!! 🙁 we’re only like 3 eppies in and they cancelled it because of this. 🙁
sad for the girl though 🙁 but sad for Meghan as well. i hope she finds her millionaire.
You are right about those markets. International investors don’t play in them…they are totally local Chines and mostly local retail…they have little bearing on anything international.
All the “real” companies are listed in Hong Kong. They may or may not have a dual listing in China but if they do, the valuations are much higher there. Like macau, it’s just a casino.

Snappy, I was kind of in shock. But my parents, being the open-minded, bleeding heart, pinko commie, Reform Jews that they were, realized I was “active” (although my girlfriend at the time would probably dispute that). I looked up and we both had a horrified look on our faces and she quickly shut the door and never mentioned it. My mom is amazing in many ways, but I think the fact she never gave me crap about things she knew would embarrass me is one of her coolest traits.
