lechacal, I have used Movers, Not Shakers, and I like them a lot. They were super capable, reasonable, very tidy and helpful. They even fixed a table with loose legs for me, unasked.
I think there was a forum thread at one point about them. Many of my friends have used them, too, and liked them a lot. But the forum thread had a few ‘dings’ against them.

Movers Not Shakers. They offer options where you don’t have to use cardboard boxes, which is nice.
I am moving next weekend (from one spot in the slope to another). Can anyone recommend a moving company? I just need a couple of guys with a truck. White glove service not required. Just need reliable and trustworthy people. I’m much more focused on trustworthiness than cost.

I thought you responded quite well to your ‘time out’ in the tent. You were a happy camper for the rest of the evening, and a delight to have around. Now if you’re good, tomorrow we can go to the toy store!
