So I went on a walking tour of Green-Wood Cemetery on Saturday and Gerritsen Beach, Marine Park and Mill Basin on Sunday. I continue to be amazed at the incredible diversity of neighbourhoods in Brooklyn. Sunday felt like I started out a fishing village in the Northeast, then went to the wetlands in Florida and ended up in an over-the-top suburban fantasy (nightmare?) world among the McMillsions in Mill Basin. How many places in the world can boast so many completely different neighbourhoods?
