Yes, Eli definitely had a thing going with Plax, and Plax not only shot himself, but the Giants last year, when he decided to carry a loaded gun into a NYC nightclub (STUPID!). The G-Men never fully adjusted to his absence. But Eli is a lot better than people think, which is pretty much the story of his career (brother of one legend, son of another). And if I remember correctly, it wasn’t Plax who was on the receiving end of the greatest pass play in Super Bowl history. Tell your main man that Eli will be just fine!
ENY, it was rumored Eli wants Peyton, Brady type $$$. I like Eli. I want to keep Eli. I want Eli to get good $$$. But given it’s a CAPPED league, no way am I going to support him getting Peyton / Brady $$$ and then see a good player(s) get cut just to get under the cap. Now if he played like Peyton or Brady then yeah, pay him cause that’s his mkt value
