i made brownies from scratch once. they were not as good as the box brands. ah, i didnt use a glass 8 x 8, i used a large metal pan and it was spread too thin. thanks!
my job is having a summer themed pot luck next week. anyone have any good summer-ish food ideas i could make? i was going to make a melon medley but that is boring. my roommate suggested getting tomatoes from the farmers market and peaches and make a salad with that with sesame oil or something like that. but im kinda open to other ideas.
The edge pan costs about $35. But it’s wonderful. (I have to admit, I got it for the kid across the road so I didn’t have to fight her & her siblings for edge pieces.)
Rob, you’re probably best off just eating the raw brownie mix. It’s easier plus you will have more bean bag time AND be acting in an evironmentally friendly way, especially since you won’t be using any water to wash your dishes or your oven to cook them (which will also keep down your utility and electricity bills.

“I like the edges”
For brownies, yes.
For sicilian pizza, no.
Poll: For & against edge pieces. (I don’t think I’ve ever heard of anyone else who doesn’t like edges.)

I like the edges
I can only make one kind of cake. No matter what recipe i use, it always comes out the same. Thankfully, it tastes not too bad.
