  1. Bxgirl…you hit the nail on the head as to why I’ve never bought black bags. I never see the black ones in any size other than gargantuan! I refuse to hold on to garbage just to fill up a sumo-sized bag. At the rate I produce garbage, it would take forever. Besides, when I get my bulk deal on white Glad bags, that’s what I’m buying!

  2. “Yoo Hoo Dave what happen to my challenge? Put your house on the market and let’s see what we can get Assboy!”

What, isn’t it a moot point if he has no desire to sell?

The value can dip, tank and rise again before he wants to unload it. So isn’t the bottom line what it’s worth on the day he wants to lists it?

  3. Wow, snappy- I never heard that one. since when? I always put mine out in tacky whate bags with ties- sometimes the garbage bin is full so I put it next to it. Never had a problem- never ever heard white bags were a no no. Personally I don’t buy garbage bags for the color- except for recyclables- black bags are usually much larger and I don’t want to hold onto my garbage until it rots in order to get enough to fill one of them. Boy- city services (is that an oxymoron?0 just gets dumber every day.

  4. I know, Cobble, I know…I’m thoroughly neurotic! But also, it helps me out. Where I have to put my trash is basically outside one of my bedroom windows. On warm, breezy nights, I don’t want the smell of cat sh!t wafting in and tickling my sniffer!

  5. “THL, I somehow suspect the agent would ask for our finances / prequalification b4 we get an appointmt to see the house”

blah, blah, blah….I’ll bring my coffee can full of change and everyone else can bring theirs. There’s plenty of counter space for us to count it all out on.
