speaking of music, is it rude of my co-worker to subject me to her terrible taste in music? I’ve asked her several times to keep it down or, better yet, to wear headphones but she fancies herself “DJ to the row”.
I have to admit that 9 times out of 10 when I go on Itunes and buy songs, the songs are at least 20 years old. I think I’m too old to be keeping up with ‘what’s hot’. 🙁 I’ll go back to my corner and continue aging (my b-day is next month as well…argh)
Great stuff coming from mineapolis. Toki wright is new and pretty good. Brother ali is one of my favorite rappers, not new, but not too folks know him. There’s also atmosphere, which is better known in underground hihop. A somewhat new female mc I just found is Tiye Phoenix (she’s great).
