Chicken, thank you for your answer about the euro currency on another thread. I have only about 5 minutes to write and browse today, but want to make a further comment about that when there is time. Anyway, I am flabbergasted (!) that you could write me such a clear and concise answer. I have printed it. My traveling friend (non usa-cit, living usa) is concerned that her usa dollars will literally turn to sinking-sand while she is over there (abroad), or into a “pile of dust” any minute with devalutation and she will have nothing left in her usa bank account! Thank you again, chicken.
Dave, I was going to mention the house tour but I decided the PLUSAs to comment on that a bit before I said anything.
If anyone’s around, Dave’s house is gorgeous and the almost finished steps and facade looks great. I am not a big architectural buff but the original detail in the house was astounding and amazingly well kept. My personal favorite was the deck with the view of the garden and was unbelievably quite. I would spend a lot of time out there on the days like we had on Sunday.
First rule of the Brownstoner rule book is don’t talk about the rule book, hypothetical or not. As is the second rule.
I’m going to have to dish out some black eyes now.
