Etson, next month I’ll be firmly ensonced in my mid-30s. I feel old, but it makes my mommy feel older 🙂 All my friends are a few months older than me and I enjoy telling them that when they are 80, I’ll still be swingin’ on 79! Ha!
G10, I have a great rental broker at Corcoran in Brooklyn Heights, but I’m not sure if he also covers Park Slope – he can probably recommend someone in the PS office though. Had terrible luck with Craigslist – agree it’s a mess.
Winthrop, LOL at “Whole Paycheck”. Thanks for the coffee counter tip – I never knew there was a separate cashier.

Or at least make sure no one catches you! I think George also tried to rationalize it with an above the rim / below the rim rule.
O.k. I was just checking out DListed and he had the funniest post. He wrote this:
SPOILER ALERT! This is the ending from a 1987 movie called Student Confidential which has been titled “THE WORST ENDING EVER.” It co-stars Marlon Jackson, so you know it’s good sh8t. In the clip, the battered dude in the turtleneck gives some short speech about “inordinate amounts of money” before taking Marlon’s hands. Then they stare at each other for a really long time. Marlon just smiles while I think the other dude passes a really big kidney stone through his bunghole. This is what most of my first dates look like.
