My mom had fit when I turned 30…its been downhill ever since! Funny thing is though, she looks super young and gets carded when she tries to buy a bottle of wine. I tell her to stop complaining about her age because not a soul believes her when she says how old she is.
“i made chilled cucumber yogurt dill soup for the first time this week.”

I’m 45 in October and, though I don’t feel old, it sounds old to me. Snappy, all my friends are a few months older, and I enjoy rubbing in that they’re 45 while I’m hanging on to 44 for dear life.

m4l – i got whole paycheck from my assistant months ago. doubt she reads this site. at 25 she is more likely to be on facebook. which i’ve just started recently and i’m sucked in…
cargar – i don’t know if coffee cashiers exist at other whole paychecks. i’m only familiar with that location. and one location in texas back in the 80’s when it was still crunchy.

Ahhhhhh, Leo Kottke, yes. I remember him from the 70s. Sad.
Hah Snappy! I remember when I turned 32, my mom said “I can’t believe I have a son that old. I feel so ancient”.
Most of my friends are a older as well, some more than a few months. I have one good friend who has a big birthday before mine, which is only allowed to be referred to as ‘the big L’.
