CG ups:
I think that was for me – am looking at both design ideas as this condo we looked at had a really small kitchen and I would wanto break it open a bit without comprismising too much living room space.
will check apt therapy too!
Hi M4L, designsponge can be nice, and the old staple apartmenttherapy has some nice ideas from time to time. Are you looking for furniture stores or design sites?
M4L, I’m pretty confident that at the peak of the market this would have gone for $1.4MM. However, all bets are off now. I still think it will go for north of $1MM. Either way, I just thought the views were pretty amazing and worth sharing.
my fav is a modern twist on traditional brownstoner details. modern is cheaper to furnish too. those old classic looking furniture, hardware,… are expensive
M4L – hahaha – noooo. you are funny! – we went to some open houses for condos ( I know I know beware). One of them was modern that we surprisngly liked. Am sure we will just end up getting an Apt for a year and then strike out again – but it was fun looking and thinking of ideas!
Kens – well the longest line at the Red Hook vendors with all the hipsters on turned out to be good. I beleive it was El Salvadorn and they had pupusas and the best rice and beans I have ever tasted. but I went to the Guatamalan truck where I had corn tamles with chicken and a lime-ade – delish! My husband had empanadas from the Colombian truck that were inedible
Rob, post the pic. This should be fun. How the heck did she find you?

M4L – agreed. I can admit I am not a designer, but I too love a modern twist with traditional details.
