Wow, just made it here after being a substitute teacher in summer school today. Not that there’s any difference between you PLUSAs and those students. One of them raised his hand and asked me without any context or prompt – the class was quietly writing an essay on Prohibition – “Mr. ——-, have you ever met a woman who *really* believes that giving is better than receiving?”
