The rat is out. There are about 50 construction workers hollering (not at hot women) really loud. If you want to see burly men tackle each other, I think today might be the day. A fight seems likely any minute.
Morning everyone! Last night was a blast. A huge thank you to the folks at Draft Barn in Brooklyn. The place was extremely nice, clean bathrooms (hooray!), and wonderful bartenders. I highly recommend that everyone check this place out.
I clearly drank too much as evidenced by getting in the shower this morning and coming very close to showering with shampoo instead of body wash 🙂 Oooops! I’m definitely hung over today, but that’s what I get for forgetting how old I am now!
For all of you who didn’t attend, take a look at this photo and that should tell you everything you need to know about last night….

Shout out to Draft Barn – great place, friendly knowledgeable and attentive service.
a bit hyper-attentive in fact. but that’s not necessarily a bad thing. last night was fun, great space.
and to the person who suggested looking at the houses on 11th street between 4th and 3rd ave, great suggestions. nicest block of vinyl siding houses ever!
As mentioned to a couple of folks – this is the West Indian themed event at the Brooklyn Museum I am planning on going to a week from Sat (August 1). Would be great if any PLUSA’s want to join:
A friend and I went two years ago and we had a blast. Will probably go around 6pm to catch the steel band, then grab some drinks / a bite on Vandy or Washington, then come back for the party in the car park. Not planning on doing any of the highbrow stuff!

Did anyone end up asking what that 400 dollar beer was about? I was curious but forgot to ask.

A brief cruise of the kitchen didn’t reveal any particularly hot dishes that I might like to taste.

I’ll mention it again next week.
I have not increased the number of people I mug… I don’t have time in my schedule to increase the frequency.
