Snappy seemed totally fine to me. In fact everyone did. I think I only had 4 brewskies, whereas I’m usually into the double digits. I don’t recall going home that sober from a bar in years. It is definitely the first time both Rob and I were completely coherent at the end of the night (or as coherent / incoherent as we were at the beginning of the night). I ended up walking home to Brooklyn Heights. I’m surprised I lived to talk about it.

In all fairness, DH- females are somewhat better mousers. But I agree- tell the landlord cats are a hell of a lot better than mice or rats. Actually I’m surprised you don’t have rats too with all the construction.
Snappy- had you seen 8 eyes you would have been looking at a tarantula -which you would have obviously forgotten buying at the pet store because you were drunk!! 🙂

DH- I’d point out to him that the cats will only help the current situation and clearly since he didn’t know it hadn’t been a bother.

thanks bxgrl – i’m going to talk to my landlord when I get back from work today and see what he wants to do – i think he updated my new lease to say no cats (he wasn’t happy when he realized I had a cat in my place, but i pointed out it didn’t say no pets in the lease)
Ugh – i hate vermin. That’s a big reason why I hire a cleaning service to come in – just to make sure everything is spotless to prevent that sorta crap.
