beautiful area over there DIBS. I have only recently had “business” over that way (you know just stuff to do) and wish I’d been better informed about where to purchase in Bed-Stuy. I love those quiet tree-lined streets. Love Herkimer too, but Stuyvesant is so pretty. I had to buy very hastily. Long story ugh.
I’ve heard that Saraghina is excellent and a much welcome and long awaited addition to the nabe but i haven’t been yet. You? You like?
hey guys i was curious and looked up a review too!
Dress Barn is not nearly as frumpy as it used to be. I am a dress freak, and I have gotten some really great knit dresses and sundresses here. Some of the dresses I bought there look like Maxx Studio or Anthropologie designs. Now they do still have the scary 90’s suit dresses and broomstick dresses, but mixed in are some really cute designs. The prices are excellent ($40-60), and there is usually a good clearance rack or special going on. I don’t care for the sportswear as much. That gets too Chico’s for me, but the dresses are really worth checking out. I have also gotten good deals on sale shoes here. I don’t think this place is only for the mature woman anymore!

Dave, like I said, not sure how much of it is true but if my high school friend is bartending, I’ll be sure to confirm that theory.

Lol darn it Snappy, you beat me to it, I was just reading that same review!!
“Biff, Herkimermaid? I’m female silly.”
herkimermaid, I asked about your orientation, not your gender. The questions only get more intrusive from here on in. Get used to it.
🙂
herkimermaid…..I’m on Stuyvesant bet Macon & Halsey. Have you been to Saraghina yet????????
ATTENTION ATTENTION DAVE:
My friend who knows the owners just told me that the cooks in the kitchen are Mexican and all gay. I cannot confirm this but I trust her on that one.
