  1. Sorry to disappoint- my sister and i are the only cousins who didn’t get nose surgery- but some of my cousins really needed them. My mother had a beautiful straight nose. Mt father’s side of the family seems to be the side where any issues came from.

I’m the palest in the family -and I used to have an olive complexion – dark. At puberty my coloring changed drastically- I got very pale and my hair went from blue-black to dark brown. I’m quite the medical miracle in my family 🙂

Luckily- or unluckily- I used to burn horribly when I was a kid so I never did the sunning on the beach thing.

  2. There goes DIBS, giving his fellow WASPs more things to look forward to in life!

Biff, I thought your post was going to have something about gender verification 🙁

Also, DH and mopar, I had lunch at Walter Foods for the first time yesterday. That burger alone makes me want to return to Williamsburg right now – definitely the best burger I’ve had in a very long time!

  3. “The garlic is to help keep BH away from you until you recover. ”

Too late Biff! BH already gave me his cold/virus!! He had it for a week while I was working! I should have used the garlic sooner! ; )

Tis true DIBS, I’m ridiculously pale. A sibling of mine was once told by a dermatologist that they shouldn’t walk a block in the sun without a hat and long sleeves. They had a few things removed. It also occurs to me, just now, that my grandfather had skin cancer. Great…more doctors!

  4. “can it cure a flat nose?”

Can it cure an elongated nose?

Is there anything in my freezer that might cause my nose to fall off?
