m4L – No. I haven’t played w/ it yet. Have decided which antenna to get but am now looking at splitters & how to wire to the 4 t.v.s I’d like to hook up. No big rush until new season starts – I hate reruns.
Speaking of the bus to DC, if you book two weeks in advance, there are some incredible prices on Amtrak now. A friend just booked Philly to Stamford for $36.
Also, always check a smaller city BEYOND your destination. Less travelled destinations are cheaper. For example, Philly to NYC is usually $64-108 but if you book Philly to Stamford, its always cheaper. Just get off in NYC instead.
So yesterday I decided to go to Una Pizza Napoletana to try it out before it closed and guess what? It’s CLOSED!!!! I had to settle for the second choice on my list, Luzzo’s, which is good and conveniently located right around the corner for the former Una Pizza. It was delish (even though not the best that I had in my opinion).
I turn around while munching on my slice and guess who is sitting right next booth to me……. Michael Kors. He was with 3 other guys and one looked familiar (I think he was one of the guys from Project Runway).
Well, given the participation at the Friends of brownstoner gatherings, we could use a little more ethnic diversity lest we be accused of race/class warfae again.
So Won Ton, it seems that you fit right in as a PLUSA.
