  1. I’ve got a Japanese symbol tattooed on my upper right arm, it’s translates to Art and Skill. That’s what you get for getting drunk on Halloween when you are 18 on St. Marks Place. 1996 St. Marks was soo much more fun than it is today. Punk Rockers with Huge Sail fin Mohawks and all types of debauchery. It was actually a dare from a friend. My mother always said to be careful when drinking; you may wake up with a tattoo. Well, it actually happened.

  2. hmmm, THL, that Tommy Lee thing with his kids is pretty cool too. I think I’ll consider that too.

Kens, I always thought tattoos for Jews were a big no-no too, but found this online from a reform rabbi:

“In general, Jewish law does not permit the intentional defacement of the human body, and this applies to tattoos. Also, after the Holocaust, many Jews are repulsed by the idea of marking their bodies in the way that the Nazis marked the bodies of their victims.

However, I do not know of any rabbi or Jewish cemetery that would refuse to bury a Jew because their body had a tattoo. That would be a terrible violation of the Jewish principle of Kavod Ha-Meit, giving honor to the dead.”
