LOL Arkady 🙂
Ditto, I know, I know! I just really hate seeing interesting topics that have the potential to educate folks end that way. By the time you get done reading it all, it feels like 35 minutes of your life that you can’t get back have been sucked out and for what? To read garbage? I originally landed on and stayed with this site because there was a lot to learn about a variety of topics. The OT added some fun in my day as well. Now, I still get my fun in the OT, but the learning has dwindled significantly. It’s just dissapointing that intelligent arguments get lost in what has become the ‘background noise’ on this site.:(
But I’ll get over it.
I’m driving down to Fredericksburg, VA today to see my sister’s new house. It’s a very historic town and apparently growing as a suburban type center, so I will give you guys a housing report of sorts upon my return (sometime next week0>
So I booked a hotel to stay at down there and was just looking over the address…it’s on the JEFFERSON DAVIS highway!! UGH!!! I will NEVER live down south!!!
Kens- actually I am first generation :-)- but from an earlier first generation than the one you’re talking about. My family came in the first half of the 20th century and waited years to have children. My brother is almost 15 years older than I and my twin. In fact, it seems most of the people in my family didn’t have children until their mid to late 30’s and 40’s. My parents were the oldest of all parents I knew by @ 20 years.
Snappy, don’t take it all so seriously. Those same people made family-friendly herb-based jokes all day yesterday too. Its all part of the game of life.
I’m just going to say this and then drop it, not to the What, but to all of us as part of this blog community. What has happened to us that we are willing to forgo an intelligent conversation with varying opinions and respect in favor of back and forth vitriol and general dog-style frothing at the mouth? I’m actually ashamed that I too have taken part in the latter in the not so distant past. I’m disgusted – at myself.

snappy- I saw that purple and green striped moon last night. It seemed high in the sky so it couldn’t have been a pair of pants, right? 🙂
Is that a rockband?

Snappy – At least he didn’t ruin the herbal therapy yesterday.

“hell I could care less less that a F*** if you do so”
I put that sentence in Google translator for WhatSpeak and it churned out:
“help me, pleeeeeeease help me”
