  1. Yes, DIBS I do

One is 16 going on 17…

    Fellows will fall in line
    Eager old lads
    And roués and cads
Will offer him food and wine

    Totally unprepared is he
To face a world of men
Timid and shy and scared is he
    Of things beyond his ken

    He needs someone
    Older and wiser
    Telling him what to do
I am 150 going on horny
    I’ll take care of him

    He 16 going on 17
    he knows that he’s naive
Fellows he meets may tell him he’s sweet
    And willingly he believes

He is 16 going on 17 innocent as a rose
    Bachelor dandies
    Drinkers of brandies
    (Eaters of Truffles)
What does he know of those?

    Totally unprepared is he
To face a world of men

  2. “If you think the clip is frightening than it was lost on you.”

Truth be told, I hadn’t watched the clip at that point; I just wanted to throw out that line in all it’s fresh corniness. The clip was certainly entertaining. Hopefully as entertaining as the correspondance I’ve been catching up on this afternoon.

  3. If you think the clip is frightening than it was lost on you.
I guess you really have to know the differences (and there are many) in Indian music to understand it…it was funny as hell.
Youtube is notorious for bringing out very zealous religious people. That clip had nothing to do with religion but yet, some of the comments are so over the top. I tend to disregard the comments and rarely read them.

‘BRG, can I present you with an award for Best Score?’

I’d rather have an reward for best original screenplay.

  4. Sorry, sorry. Been in a meeting with some Japanese stockbrokers.

Snark…I actually don’t know enough about it. And you know me, I’d never, ever comment on anything I didn’t know that much about.

  5. BRG, I don’t know what’s more frightening: that bollywood clip or the comments posted below it! Holy Jihad, Batman!

I actually loved the music in Slumdog Millionaire and keep forgetting to download it. So glad the film won best score. BRG, can I present you with an award for Best Score?
